The SD900 sampler is easy to maintain, and due to its longer pump tube life, it reduces maintenance costs and also reduces pump downtime. The pump cover has rough patterns, but the straight through structure is convenient for daily use and helps to visually inspect the pump, facilitating troubleshooting. The desiccant tube and pump tube located on the side of the controller are easy to install and replace, and can be completed in a few minutes.
The SD900 sampler uses a high-strength pump to pull and load a drum with springs to ensure that large particles do not interfere with sample collection. Peristaltic pump squeezes elastic 3/8-inch tube to induce flow. Loading springs on the drum reduces pump tube wear and helps prevent pump congestion. The typical lifespan of a pump tube is 20000 cycles, while other typical samplers only have a lifespan of 1000 cycles.
Using Hach's SampleviewTM software allows for remote programming control of the controller, making it easy to view and download sampling records, save sampling templates, upgrade instrument firmware, download event logs, and save time.
The SD900 sampler is a perfect sampler suitable for NPDES water equipment, rainwater surface runoff monitoring, pretreatment equipment, CSO research and measurement, industrial wastewater discharge, urban domestic sewage process control, etc. It can also be set up with equal time ratio, equal flow ratio, composite sampling or multiple bottle sampling styles. To optimize the flexibility of sampling, up to three vertical sampling programs can be stored simultaneously.
If rapid switching between composite sampling and individual sampling is required on site, alternating compact or standard bases can be used. Simply loosen one screw to achieve the conversion without the need for any tools. The program setup takes less than two minutes or the Sampleview program directly calls the stored program template.
The controller housing of SD900 is made of hard materials with good external sealing, which can effectively resist external environmental humidity and corrosion. All electronic and mechanical components inside the instrument are effectively isolated. The keyboard, switch, and display screen are all made of polyester film material, which has good waterproof and corrosion-resistant properties; The shaft seals of the connectors and pumps are also sealed to further ensure the integrity of the instrument's interior.
The collected samples are protected by a double-layer insulation layer, which shields them from external environmental impacts and extreme environmental conditions. The base of the compact and standard models can withstand 8.5 pounds and 32 pounds of ice, respectively.
The Sigma900 portable sampler, with its ultrasonic liquid sensing system, can provide customers with highly reproducible and accurate liquid sampling volume data. Before and after each sampling, the entire input end of the instrument pipeline is automatically purged and cleaned thoroughly to ensure the acquisition of representative samples. Up to three pipelines can be cleaned simultaneously to minimize cross contamination between pipeline inlets. If the inlet of the sampler is blocked and the sample cannot be collected, the sampler will automatically provide an error message and can set a program to repeat the operation up to three times.
